Dan Sharnoff grew up experimenting with home video and playing music with friends. Those interests led to the beginnings of a career as a video editor at a small post-production facility while studying communication at George Mason University. Upon graduation, Dan moved to New York City and quickly found himself in the camera department on various independent productions. Gracious mentors extended themselves, providing him the opportunity to learn the craft of motion picture photography. Dan has been directing photography on a variety of projects since 2004. In addition to bringing the script to life with a Director, true collaboration with all departments of a production team is important to him. Dan is extremely proud to have worked with such an array of talented people in the past and is excited for what the future may hold.
